How long will my brigadeiros last?
Our brigadeiros will be fresh at room temperature for about 4 to 5 days. Refrigerate for a longer shelf life between 7 to 10 days.
You can also freeze them for up to 3 months.
Note, they are safe to eat even past these dates, but they will not be as creamy. If frozen, please allow approximately 20 to 30 minutes to reach room temperature.
Can I refrigerate brigadeiros?
Yes. You can refrigerate brigadeiros for a longer shelf life, please allow 15 minutes coming out of the fridge to reach room temperature.
Do Obrigaderia brigadeiros contain nuts?
Nuts are not a part of all our brigadeiros, but some do contain nuts. Also, our brigadeiros are made in a environment that is exposed to nuts. If you are allergic to nuts, please let us know in order for us to take extra precautions.

Do Obrigaderia brigadeiros contain gluten?
The majority of our brigadeiros are gluten free. However, our brigadeiros are made in a environment that is exposed to gluten, so traces of gluten may be found in our brigaderios. If you have strict restrictions towards gluten products, please let us know in order for us to take extra precautions.

Do Obrigaderia brigadeiros contain dairy?
Yes. Our brigadeiros are made with milk, butter, and cream. Nutritional information is available upon request, so feel free to reach out to us.

Does Obrigaderia have any vegan options?
Can I choose different flavors for my order besides the pre-assorted flavors?
Yes. We offer more than 17 different flavors that you can pick from for your order. Churro, creme brûlée and milky Nutella are not available for shipping. Please choose "build your box" and write on the comments your flavors.

How big is each brigadeiro?
Our gourmet brigadeiro weighs about 20 grams or 0.70 ounces each.
How long in advance should I place my order?
Please give us 2-3 days in advance to place your order. If your order is requiring 100+ brigadeiros, please give us a notice of a week or more in advance to complete your order. If you have a short notice, and or would like your order expedited, we can accommodate for that at an additional cost.
When can I expect my order?
Obrigaderia makes all brigadeiros to order and ship within 2-3 business days. If you are in the San Diego area, shipping will take 1-2 business days. If you’re outside the San Diego area, shipping will take up to 3 business days. Please note that we only ship from Monday to Wednesday to avoid the brigadeiros sitting an extra day at the shipping warehouse. So, by the time you place an order, you can expect it to arrive within 7 days.
We do not take responsibility for orders that have been marked delivered but may not have been received. We recommend keeping an eye on your tracking number to make sure someone is home when the order arrives. Also, we do not offer refund for delayed orders caused by the shipping company (USPS or UPS).

Does Obrigaderia deliver?
Yes. We charge for delivery and prices may vary depending on your location. Most of our deliveries are within the San Diego county.
Does Obrigaderia offer pick up?
Yes, we offer pick up at our kitchen location in El Cajon. Please email us info@obrigaderia.com to schedule a pick up date.
Delayed orders?
We do everything we can to make sure your order arrives on time. However, once a package is shipped, there can be many factors outside of our control that may come up.
As our policy, we do not offer refunds for delayed orders caused by one of our shipping partners (USPS or UPS) due to weather, error, strikes, natural disaster, inaccurate shipping information, mistakes on the part of our shipping partners' employees or similar reasons that are outside of our control.

Does Obrigaderia have a storefront?
No. We don't have a storefront. You can place your order through our website or if in the San Diego area, you can also find us every Saturday at Poway Farmers Market.
